The main components of wollastonite are SiO2 and CaO, with a content of more than 92%. In glass fiber production, it can partially replace quartz sand, pyrophyllite, and limestone in raw materials. At the same time, some silicon oxide and calcium oxide are introduced, which has a better melting effect and reduces the furnace melting temperature. At the same time, it not only reduces carbon emissions but also achieves energy-saving effects. At the same time, it increases the hardening speed of fiber forming, improves the glass melting rate, and improves the quality of glass fibers.

The application of wollastonite in glass fiber and ceramic fiber solves the problem of refractory melting of quartz sand and other materials, and the melting rate of the furnace is also increased accordingly, which greatly reduces the production cost.
